1. Introduction:
Any educational institution is an agency to provide knowledge and wisdom to children. And it is also geared towards the achievement of aims and objectives. The quality of education should be value based and it should give experiences which will shape and modify the behaviour of pupil. Every teacher has a greater responsibility in planning proper activities which will enable children to take active part in different situations which the teacher creates in the class and outside the class room.
Learning takes place through experience. A child is exposed to various situations in life where he interacts and modifies his behaviour. Home is one of the most important places of education. The child learns a number of things at home and tries to imitate his parents’ actions and deeds. Society also provides the child with a number of learning experiences which may have adverse effect and some other experiences have a wholesome effect. He also learns a number of things from his peer groups such as cooperation, honesty and helpfulness, etc.

Learning is a never-ending process and we can keep on learning until the day we die. Learning takes place by thinking, feeling and doing.
Going to school and college is not the only way one can learn. There are various ways to learn, and learning styles differ from person to person but no one’s learning style is better than another’s is. However, there are various types of learning and the most important ones are through seeing, listening and through touch experience. Therefore, learners can be classified by the way they learn and depends on which sense organ they use - the eye, ear or their hands to learn. When we are small, our mothers often warn us not to go near fire or the stove or anything hot as it can cause burns on our body.
