Refugee. What do you know about this word? Do you know why refugee is a serious issue among us right now? It is not only you or us who does not know the details about refugee. It is true that many people are aware of this without knowing what it is. So today, I’ll talk about the refugee crisis, the meaning, people’s point of view, my point of view and the suggestion for the solution.
Syria has a democratically elected regime headed by Bashar al Assad. This regime is being tried to annihilate the opposite religion from him, Sunnis, because he’s religion is Islam Shia and his family. Therefore the tension between citizens and the government aroused, both politically and religiously. Sequentially, the civil war aroused from conflicts of opinion. …show more content…
What optimistic people say is that it is a humanitarian consideration to treat them as same human as us and they also deserve to have a safe and a happy life. However, most importantly, refugees increase consumer markets for domestic commodities, create new markets, and bring new skills. As they need money to settle, it can be assume that they could fill the vacant employment positions and provides cheap labor in manual or seasonal jobs such as farmer, working in industries and polishing the roads. Also the profits in domestic industries will increase and the disposable incomes will boost. Moreover, as refugees will also pay taxes, they will contribute to the …show more content…
But the situation is overlooked by many and is being misunderstood. In reality, the influx is in such humongous number that the EU is being in a helpless condition to accommodate all of them. They are accepting them because there are a lot positive sides of accommodating them, but there are still negative sides remained. I think it is good to accept refugees. It is a humanitarian consideration and there are lots of benefits following either. However, as there are some concern as many nation feels, I think it will be great if other more countries donate more money to improve facilities in the countries near by Syria, such as Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan. Then refugees will spread around countries nearby them and not only aim to go to Europe. Therefore Europe does not have to spend lots of money because right now.
