Overview of Job
A recording engineers’ job is to operate the sound board or any other electrical equipment during the recording of music.
A recording engineer helps to produce a recording or a performance, editing and adjusting sound tracks using equalization and audio effects, mixing, reproduction, and reinforcement of sound.
Mixing may involve changing tempos, adding more bass or treble, changing any volume levels, and adding beats.
The recording engineer will mix music and tracks to make them sound just right.
Mixing is an art that the recording engineer will need to practice and practice to get right.
Mixing can be done during a recording, or after the musician leaves.

While recording in the studio, the recording engineer will need to be friendly with the musician to make them comfortable. He or she will also need to pay a lot of attention to detail in order to make the best music. Paying attention also involves taking notes on what the musician wants. Taking notes is also important for the recording engineer to know how they made a certain sound.

Another advancement is a Top Freelance Recording Engineer, they may record top recording musicians, anyone from top record companies, and good producers’ clients.
The last huge advancement is a Engineer Producer, this person records music for an artist and produces it.
