Reason For Attending College Essay
To me there’re various reasons for what college is for. In my opinion the main reason we have college is to acquire more knowledge to better prepare ourselves for our potential future occupations. That is my main reason why we have college but at the same time I also see other secondary reasons to go along with the main reason for attending college. So to answer the question that has been asked I will now try and elucidate my personal thoughts about what college is for. To reiterate, I honesty believe the main reason why we go to college is to obtain more information and knowledge about whatever field we are interested in studying in order to become the best possible candidate for our desired jobs, that hopefully become careers for us. To me College is like your first steps into reality. We have so much more freedom. However, at the same time we also have a lot more responsibilities as well. I feel like going to college is allowing me to see what life is like without my mom and dad holding my hand all the time. It puts living on my own in little bite-sized capsules to slowly but surely associate myself into living somewhat by myself. Not only is college allowing me to grow in academia but also as a young man, maturing even further into adulthood. These two points are what I believe college is for. So that we all are able to not only become the most ideal candidates by absorbing knowledge that finally we attain mastery of desired fields of study for future careers, but also to help grow as young men and women by giving us more freedom and responsibilities that most of us are new too. College is a necessity for most, a playground for some, a hell for others, nevertheless, it is an opportunity for all who
