Rama And Ravana In Battle
In the Epic of Rama and Ravana In Battle, Rama’s most superior heroic traits were that he was honorable, a relentless warrior, and a devoted husband to his wife. Rama is forced to journey his way back from exile to face the all powerful demon Ravana. He has to commence on this odyssey because Ravana kidnapped his wife Sita. After numerous battles, Rama killed Ravana with a Brahmastra to his belly hole. The Brahmastra is a force that has to be called down by chanting mantras and is the only weapon that could kill Ravana. The Brahmastra was given to Rama by the sage Agastya. Once, Ravana is unable to compete, Rama, refuses to take his chance to kill him because he stands by his principal that it is not fair to attack your opponent when he’s fainted. After, he broke Sita’s bow, he signified his devoted love towards her for two reasons, One no one could even lift it beside him, and because that is how you earn her marriage. The reader can learn a lot of lessons from the Epic Rama and Ravana In Battle, but one of the main lessons you should understand is Human values. Rama throughout the epic stands by his values by not killing Ravana when he is unable to fight, and fighting for the protection of his loved ones. The Ramayana played a huge role in strengthening Indian Culture, because it gave the people of an India a sense of what a perfect man should be and how to be a great leader and husband. Without the Ramayana, Indians would not have anything to lead them in their own lives. Rama is India’s version of the Bible because when everything is not going right, those are the stories to restore your hope and keeps you moving forward.     Throughout the epic, Beowulf demonstrated his strength as a warrior and a leader. When Grendel arrived at Herot, the other warriors “could not scratch at his skin, for that sin-stained demon had bewitched all men's weapons, laid spells that blunted every mortal man's blade.”(92-94).
