Racial Narrative Identity
After creating the research topic, there were many questions that were unanswered. The main research question was: how does the emotional or structural tones and lasting outcome of an individual's racial narrative identity involving the meaning of self ? The reason this study is important to the field of personality is because it can ultimately lead research in the direction of finding out more information on race and how it affects the narrative identity of an individual. This information could also lead to a whole new understanding of a person’s personality and why the person acts a certain way. The basis of this study is collecting evidence of whether or not the meaning of race can be processed narratively.
