Solving the Puzzle of Life

Life has many challenges, easy and rough decisions that we face everyday, we make our decisions based on our personality and values that we learn, inherited, and ones we make for ourselves. Values differ from person to person and words we say everyday are the same way. Just like our decision making styles and defense mechanisms, these three aspects make up just a little bit of who we are and` our personality.
My values are what have help me decide to join the Army. I want to live my life in a way to show my gratitude to the ones who have fought, died, and made it possible for me to live my dream. My values are respect, honor, and loyalty. Each of my values help me push towards my value statement because I know if it wasn’t for the people who fought in the world wars and all the battles through out history America would not be what it is today, we wouldn’t be untied at all. Honor to me is to put some one on a high level than where you are at currently, same as respect. Loyalty is the biggest value I can think of because being loyal to something is a big deal to me. Growing up I had a mixed chow dog and no matter what happened I knew if I looked down she would be right beside of me through thick and thin. She was who really taught me the most about loyalty beside other military people. One day I was taking out the trash and started getting chased by a rottweiler and my dog broke off her chain and rescued me from getting attack by the bigger dog and thats how I want to be to my country and my job.
I want to live my life in a way provide for my family and to give them the best life I can. My values are success, advancement and most importantly wisdom, without wisdom I can't achieve my statement. Wisdom is earned and gained over time but when u learn new things your wisdom level will sky rocket through the roof. Everyday growing up I went to school, elementary, middle, high school and now college just to earn a higher education. I know

The Puzzle of Life horizontal rule I was given a puzzle a couple of months ago from a friend of mine, it had 1,500 pieces. I haven’t put together a puzzle since I was a kid. Isn’t it funny how we stop doing certain things when we grow up: puzzles, coloring, playing dolls, hop scotch, hide and go seek. Things that brought us so much joy as a child, we stop doing when we reach a certain age - it’s a shame, isn’t it? I must admit, I really enjoyed the puzzle. Although very frustrating at times…
