If the movement of people, food, and manufactured goods can have such a negative impact on public health, should steps be taken to reduce these flows? What other options are there for lowering the spread of global diseases?

Yes, steps to reduce negative impact on public health definitely, in some ways, have to be taken to prevent diseases to spread out worldwide. That said, however, would not be easy, for worldwide movement of people, food and manufactures goods cannot be restricted so easily in this globalized world.

In other words, it is not for the importing countries to protect what is coming in, but it is more of an issue for the exporting countries and the producers to handle what they can give out to other countries. In many cases, things can be exported, motivated by greed of the government or the producers to make profit. Also aggressive trading negotiation to project political power is often seen to, what they call, “balance out the trading rate” of two countries. I do see in international trading what I see in the Cold War. The cost is the health of our own people. The cots is the suffering local farmers. So when trading, it is a must for producers and the government to make sure and checked strictly the wellness of the trading products. It is, of course without question, significant for the group as WTO to set rules to control international trade to regulate it but enhancing producers’ consciousness for honest farming/manufacturing and also cooperation for honest surveys of each government would be most …show more content…
In winter, it should be cold and lives should shiver. Otherwise you would forget how valuable fire is. In spring, we should all be delighted to see the green, to see things go back to life again from hibernation. We, at least I, would not be happy to live without any environmental issues from birth to the moment of death. We have to value nature and blend with it. If it tells you to be hungry, so be it. If the nature tells you that you are a kind to be extinct, so be it. With regards to what is right and wrong, going against what nature tells you to do, in my opinion, is the wrong choice. Maybe the idea of holding livestock is the start of our mistakes; to always feel safe about feeding yourself. That, however, must have erased our instinct to live as a human
