Vaccines are substance that is usually injected into a person or animal to protect them from any disease. There are many diseases that can make a person very sick, disabled, or even kill you. Sometimes vaccines are called immunization, needles, or shots. It also, contains a little bit of a germ that is weak or dead but it is not a germ that makes a person sick (Public Health Agency of Canada, 2015). Having these germs inside of your body makes your body defense system build antibodies to fight off this kind of germ (Public Health Agency of Canada, 2015).
