Pros And Cons Of The Clinical Decision Support System
Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) are currently used in healthcare to help clinicians in making complex and simple clinical- based decisions (Tan, Payton, & Tan, 2010, p. 121). The Clinical Reminder System (CRS), which is an extension of CDSS, deals with how the system is utilized and the pros and cons that accompany the users who make use of the system. This case study discusses how CRS is used and the obstacles that they provide for its users.
