With so many complaints about the poor quality food that schools have been serving students, bringing in popular fast food restaurants to replace traditional lunches seems to be the quick solution. Everyone has gotten lunch from their school before. To some, it is just easier. A student just has to grab a tray, pick out their food, pay, and eat. However, are students really getting healthy foods? If not, school lunches should be improved so students are eating healthier foods. At our middle school, you just type in your school number and tell them what you want. They then just give you the food. This means that the school has no control if the students eat healthy food. Students, instead of ordering the proper lunch, order junk food such as cookies or fruit snacks which one, wouldn’t fill them up and two, is very healthy for their diet. The school should change their lunches so kids are getting a healthy lunch.…

The food served at most public schools is unhealthy. There is no possible truth than that. School food is made to be served as quickly and as cheaply as possible to all the kids in that school. Meals that are served in this way are bound to be unhealthy, as can be ascertained from pizzas with enough grease to fill a pint of milk, not to mention the unhealthy choices of milk pints. All of the schools that serve their food this way should know that they need to rework their lunches to make them healthier, but not alter them drastically; this will help prevent childhood obesity, improve the grades of students, and potentially earn the school more state-mandated revenue.…
