Pros And Cons Of Random Locker Searches
Unannounced locker searches are uncommon, despite the fact that locker searches help staff keep students in check. Schools should be a safe place for students to enjoy their education, and locker searches can help enforce that. Although some students are lacking in effort, many students are respectful, intelligent, and eager to learn. Students should allow random locker searches because if students do not have anything to hide, locker searches should not be a problem, lockers are owned by the district, and staff should be allowed to inspect the schools’ own property, and finally, random locker searches will keep student from possessing anything not school appropriate.
Random locker searches show equality and help keep schools a safe environment.

Some of the fundamental differences between the Americans and English were the idea of a monarchy, the search and seizure policies, and their judicial interpretations. In America, the Constitution was written in such a way that the president’s power was equal to that of the other two branches of government. America was afraid of a ruler becoming too strong. Another contrast was the policy of search and seizure. The British created the writs of assistance, which allowed the government to take the property of anyone under the suspicion of any crime. The fourth amendment of the Constitution, however, protected anyone from the…

Teachers can set up a designated area for backpacks to got to prevent tripping or any injuries during the school day. Students backpacks will no longer lay about and cause a potential threat to students and teachers safety. We can place them in certain areas of the classroom so that we to continuously ensure the safety of faculty and students. Also back packs pose no greater danger with weapons and or drugs then students everyday purses, gym bags, or even laptop bags. Those items can be just as dangerous as any book bag out there. A bag is a bag, so if you're allowing gym bags, purses or anything of the sort consider that the threat may still remain without backpacks. Last of all having backpacking during emergencies would speed up any the safety procedure since your backpack would be right there with you at all times during the day. The lockers have been given to the students expecting them to take care of it and being responsible over it. What is the need to go through it? I have been given a locker since sixth grade and never once has a teacher much less a principle gone through my locker. If they were to go through my locker it would make me feel like i'm a suspect for something I have no connection with.On our way into school each day student’s book bags are checked each day. There have even been instances in which the security guards have taken over an hour to go through the student's belongings, while teachers, administrators and principals go through without being checked not only is it hypocritical but unjust. Teenagers should be given the benefit of the doubt. I have been present in an event where a teacher unjustifiably read his messages out loud after his phone rang in class without him even having it in his hands. It wasn't in the teacher’s responsibility nor authority to go through his messages much less reveal his messages. We are called the next generation yet we are restricted to are given liberty's by others insecurities.
