Pros And Cons Of Ponyboy
Would Ponyboy benefit from his irresponsible brothers and gang? Ponyboy should be in the system because he would be living in a dangerous environment. For example, Ponyboy gets beat up by Socs without a valuable reason. In addition, Ponyboy also gets hit at home. On the other hand, Darry hits Ponyboy which could lead to Darry hitting Ponyboy repeatedly. Many others can argue that Darry was caring for Ponyboy and teaching him beneficial lesson. To emphasize, Darry does not provide a safe and reliable home for Ponyboy. Also, Ponyboy would have a healthier lifestyle while being in the system.
