Pros And Cons Of Open Carry Laws
Before this assignment I opposed the open carry law. Guns should not be allowed on college campuses, amusement parks, or any other public place because I believe it endangers the lives of children, teens, and adults everywhere. My attitude and beliefs toward the open carry law after doing this assignment are still the same, however, they have changed slightly. I am still not in agreement with carrying loaded guns anywhere, but under certain circumstances, I believe it should be allowed. For example, if a female nurse is getting off work late and she is parked in the hospital garage, she would need something to protect herself with just in case someone were to try to harm her.
