Pros And Cons Of Being A Class President
If I was elected for class president, my main goal is not to simply make our freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years astonishing but to help our class become a big family. Another goal of being class president, is to build the class of 2020. Im talking bake sales, dances and whatever our class need to succeed and raise money. I think we actually should get to know the people we will be spending the next 3 years of our lives with. Not just knowing their faces and names lets actually build friendships.

Being a member of Best Buddies and SAVE, I demonstrate a strong sense of dedication for supporting others and lending a helping hand. The goals of both Best Buddies and SAVE are to further acceptance, embrace diversity, promote safety in schools, and spreading positive energy. As a student representative, my sole objective would be to help enlighten the school board and those in the community about the daily life at MHS, advocate for the 1,600 students currently attending, and respectively relay any helpful amendments that would benefit the Mukwonago Area School District. The multiple clubs I participate in and the copious amounts of friendships I developed with people that have contrasting passions also allow me to speak on behalf of a relatively large group of students. The students taking part in the same activities that I belong to range from freshman to seniors. The opinions of a freshman compared to that of a senior’s may vary drastically, and being a part of clubs with a sample of each year will give me an advantage to hear an assortment of…

The Presidency as a whole has changed in many ways throughout the course of history; specifically, in the relationship between the president and the public. The Constitution is vague when it describes communication of the president: a president must say why they veto a bill, and they must inform the public on the state of the union (Ellis 82). President George Washington had the task of establishing how the president would interact with the public. During the early days of the presidency the President communicated seldomly with the public; this is because the president was supposed to be held at a higher standard than the public, and they were supposed to communicate with Congress. Washington worked towards having the office of the president…

Last year I was asked to be a small group leader for incoming 7th grade students this year. Having known what it felt like to be a new student in a completely different school I jumped on the opportunity to help. I, like Billy tried to be open and welcoming, encouraging the 7th graders to become involved in the Xaverian community just like Billy did for me and I’m sure many others. My goal was to be able to help the 7th graders in any situation whether they needed advice or just want to share a funny story. As a student council senator I would try to do the same. I would strive to always be friendly and kind to all Xaverian students wanting everyone to feel welcome. I would encourage other to join clubs and activities and go on service projects like X-Act and Christmas in the city. Most of all I would want each and every student at Xaverian to feel accepted and to feel excited, knowing that they are each a key part in the larger, greater, Xaverian…

It is also important to treat each other as equals, preventing the idea of dominance or superiority to go to one's head, as everyone's contribution to a common goal should be appreciated. In addition, I try my best to round-out myself in pursuing other interests though extracurricular activities. I have been taking piano lessons for over 5 years; From this, I learned early on that one's determination and integrity are essential things to build and keep in order to accomplish set goals. Furthermore, I try my best to seek new ways to benefit our community. In my church, I often take the position of a needed altar server if more servers are necessary in order to carry out the mass. I have also created numerous congratulatory cards for new mothers in hospitals during my freshman year. These experiences I have had have changed the approach I have taken on in life, allowed me to gain new skills and perspectives, and - hopefully - given me the qualities needed in a National Honor Society…

One goal for next year would be to create meaningful and creative programs that stimulate not only the academic side of my residents but can also help them grow spiritually, individually, socially, and creatively. I hope to accomplish this through a better time management of planning and to thoughtfully come up with learning goals and targets for my programs. Another goal I have would be to create a more intimate community. This means that I create spaces for my residents to truly get to know reach other on a more personal level. I hope to accomplish this by having more programs in the beginning of the year and throughout the semester that are fun and engaging but also allows residents to socialize on a level they might not have done by themselves.…

I want every student to leave my classroom learning something. I know that every child has the ability to learn even the smallest things. I feel that a teacher should take on roles outside the classroom as well. Sometimes a teacher is the only person a child feels they can talk to. It is important for the teacher to have a warm, welcoming, and confidence way about her so that the child is more likely to come to her if and when they have a problem. I know that I will provide that to my students. I plan to continue to grow as a teacher through experiences, reflections and guidance from others.…

Outside of their parents, the teacher is the next adult figure with the most influence in their lives. I must take every student under my wing and guide them through the year. In order to do that, the environment of the classroom I create will comprise of me taking a sincere interest in students and see them as unique individuals. I will be notice if they play any sports, or participate in any clubs and connect with them at that level. I will also build lasting relationships that inspire and encourage students to be confident with whom they are. Every single student in my classroom will be recognized for the diversity they bring to the community and I will never allow them to think they are less significant than someone else. I want a community classroom that is structured with independence, encouragement, an open-mind, and student cooperation. Cooperation and communication are vital in establishing a classroom because it considerably limits negative situations.…
