I would have to disagree about banning all asbestos because some asbestos fibres are harmless. People and workers have more risk of developing a disease in 20 to 40 years if their handling the asbestos fibres and inhaling the fibres. Asbestos fibres, like chrysotile fibres, aren't harmful to people until countless fibres are discharged in the air. Now, asbestos fibres are made in a solid matter that doesn't cause it to spread into the air. Chrysotile is one fibre that is less harmless compared to amphiboles.
