Is It Time for a New Sales System?

ABC Hotels (Private) Limited

Executive Summary
This project proposal describes a technical and management approach for implementing a new sales system for ABC Hotels (Private) Limited.
As the company have difficulties in running the old system and it was not up-to-date, the new sales system is highly recommended. Total project duration will be 3 months including analyzing designing, testing and implementing phases. The main conversion will be the computerized sales system. After parallel running of both systems for two weeks, the old system can be winded up.
Main benefits will be saving time, low implementing cost and a strong customer base etc. The implementing cost may be double in the parallel running time, but it is insignificant comparing with benefits.

ABC Hotels (Private) Limited is a private limited liability company incorporated in Sri Lanka. The address of its registered office is located at Fort, Galle. The principle activities are carrying on hotels and restaurants.

Problem in detail
Difficulties of existing sales system
1. Wasting time it takes a long time to issue a sales invoice and record in the ledger in manual system.
2. Searching & referencing
Searching & referencing is tougher and takes a long time.
Ex: To search a issued invoice or receipt
3. Data security
Data security is lower in manual system.
Ex: No
