Background:Over the past couple of decades steroids and other performance enhancing drugs have become more and more common in sports and have started to become more of a part of mainstream culture. Steroids have become a great problem very quickly and are just now being addressed among many major sports. Through looking at the effects of steroids, the way they affect a fans prospective of the game and other aspects we can see the problems that they create in professional sports.
