Having a job at a frozen yogurt shop named Spooners through all four years of high school really helped me develop a set of skills that will really help me with college and the rest of my life. Leadership and responsibility were two key skills that I have learned and practiced with my job at Spooners. Since there were few employees working at a time it was necessary for every employee to be responsible and to be a leader while working their shift. I did learn many skills that will help me in the future but leadership and responsiblility are the two most important skills that will help me in my future. Being responsible is something that could be hard for many people and was very difficult for me as a freshman in high school when I first got the job at Spooners. I was not very responsible at all starting off but as I worked more and more I was able to learn that it was necessary to be responsible on the job. I needed to learn how to be responsible so everything in the store would look good. Responsibility did not just belong to this job. It was necessary to learn to be responsible outside of work as well. School was getting harder so I not only had to be responsible at work but also had to be responsible with all of my schoolwork. Keeping up good grades and staying on top of work was not easy at all but being able to say responsible and disciplined with my school work through all four years of high school has helped me and will continue to help me with my future. Leadership is something that many believe is something that you are either born with or not. I was not born with the gift to be a leader but through my four years of working at Spooners, I had to learn how to be a leader through the process. Starting off the job was timid and backed down from many leadership possibilities but as employees were inconsistent, I had to man up to become the leader that I am today. There is no leadership job that I would back down from today. I grew up in four years and
