2.1 explain own role and responsibilities in working with colleagues

⭐️supervise what everyone does within the setting
⭐️set tasks for members of staff
⭐️talk to parents
⭐️collect money
⭐️mark children in
⭐️at all times I maintain a professional approach towards my colleagues
⭐️raise concerns with colleagues to help improve our standards within our setting

2.2 develop and agree common objectives when working with colleagues
When working with my colleagues the common objectives I need to be aware of are I need to negotiate with colleagues to ensure everyone is in agreement. I need to compromise with my colleagues making sure an agreement is met so that everyone is happy. Clear communication with everyone is very important holding meeting regularly and talking to colleagues helps set clear guidelines of everyone's roles and responsibilities within the setting I need to make sure I set my own goals and achieve a good standard in my own work to show a good example to my colleagues. Within the setting we centre our planning on our children enduring we run a fun safe environment at all times.

2.3 evaluate own working relationship with colleagues

To evaluate my own work I need to do self appraisal I evaluate my own work and role seeing how I can improve on what my good point and bad points are! Through appraisal I can see what my strengths and weaknesses are self appraisals are important to help better the quality of my work.
I need to accept feedback from colleagues to help me improve my role within the setting. And set targets for myself to help me do my role better within my setting. .
2.4 deal constructively with conflict that may arise with colleagues

they key to dealing with conflict is to have openness and honesty with colleagues making sure issues are raised and sorted promptly making sure a common ground is met by all involved to ensure everyone is happy within the work place. A none judgmental approach to the matter

    Conflict is something that is inevitable, however it is important as a leader to show how you handle conflict that separates you from being a good or a bad leader. Conflict is a common workplace situation that arises. Because an organization is composed of many different individuals conflicts are seen as being unavoidable. Conflict involves and influences many factors.     Dealing with conflict is discussed throughout the course however there is many of ways in dealing with this, some theories believe there is a process to follow or on the other hand it can be down to the particular individual. Most importantly a shared vision within the early years is very important to establish so we are all working to the same expectations. As a leader and manager this is important to take on board. A work force is more effective if team members support and respect each other and most of all respect their team leader and manager.
