Problems Caused by the Golden Week
As is known to everyone, the National Day holiday endows people with a lot of benefits, such as relaxing ourselves, expanding our outlook, as well as reuniting with our families; but it also brings about some problems which cannot be ignored.
On one hand, during the seven-day holiday, innumerable traveling expeditions are flocking to the bus stations, train stations and airports, causing tedious traffic jams and thus adding some undesirable matters to the should-be-gleeful trip. Too heavy traffic not only delays the time of arriving at the destination, but is also the source of traffic accidents.
On the other hand, it also has negative impact on our environment. Nowadays, more and more people choose to travel by driving, which means a halo of auto fumes. It can add greatly to air pollution. Besides, some tourists even throw away cigarette ends, cans, as well as plastic bags carelessly. Such behaviors can also destroy the ecological environment of scenic spots.
To solve these problems, I suggest that the following methods are worth a try.
First of all, I think that the relevant departments should arrange more transports like trains, long-distance buses, and airplanes during the National Day holiday in order to meet people’s traveling requirements.
Secondly, the government should insist to impose restrictions on the number of private cars on road during the Golden Week.
Last but not least, it is necessary for the government also make good of mass medias to help people be aware of the importance of protecting the environment and encourage them to traveling by the public

Firstly, vehicles are one of the leading causes of pollution. They burn high amounts of fuel and release toxin gases; for instance, during the eighteenth century, in London, this resulted in an increase of carbon dioxide in the air, and citizens had to wear face masks to avoid getting sick. Nowadays, engineers have made gasoline and electric powered cars which are economically friendly, and burn less fuel. Furthermore, local travelers who travel as far as going to work, school or shopping or more should only use four cylinders or less powered vehicles to release less CO2 into the atmosphere.…

Americans have a need to travel far and to do so quickly. Because of this we use automobiles and these in turn present a host of environmentally unfreindly issues. The tapping of oil is a mar on the environment. The refining of the oil into gas and safe oil for auto's creates smog. The transportation of the materials in order to distribute them creates smog through the use of tires and exhaust creates more environmental problems. The use of electricity to distribute the fuel is not environmentally freindly and the use of the gas once distributed is not friendly.…

Pollution is incredibly harmful to the environment, world, climate, and even space. Pollution damages our atmosphere which then creates acid rain and toxins in the air. The 2015 "State of the Air" report finds 52 percent of Americans live in counties with unhealthy levels of air pollution. Pollution starts with littering which can harm many things depending on where litter is. Bottles, plastic bags, even food waste harms the rivers, lakes, ocean, etc. When bottles get into the ocean, it damages the coral by hitting it. This also happens to sea animals. Commuters pose a challenge to town planners for various reasons, although they account for a small percentage of travelers. Commuting takes place in two faces: the morning rush hour and the afternoon rush hour. This means that during these phases, the transport system undergoes much stress because of the spike in the number of users. This can be credited to the fact that people live and work in different places and that there is a uniform work time in the country. Work starting at 8-9 a.m. and ending at 5-6 p.m., this means that commuters have some special needs and requirement in so far as traveling is concerned. So, they require speedy and dependent transportation. In addition to this, there is the growing need to keep the commuters informed…

Many hazards come from the emission of fossil fuels from the engines of cars, by implementing the use of people not using their cars or making fuel efficient vehicles, it helps improve the inconvenience use of vehicles. When the growth of population becomes larger, more people require unnecessary materialistic items, like cars, technology, and material that cut into the field and push down trees from growing. Animals start to get pushed out their habitats, and the earth begin to become small on their environmental structure. Driving is the most polluting thing that we can do. The National Safety Council (NSC) states that motor vehicles release millions of tons of pollutants, classified as toxics, into the air each year. These toxics cause around 1,500 cases of cancer every year. Car emissions also contribute to acid rain and global warming (NSC, 2006).…

Last year, the government was deeply embarrassed when thousands of people living in cities and towns had to cancel their plan to celebrate the Eid-ul-fitr at their village homes because of extremely poor road conditions across the country. The owners of passenger buses operating on many inter-district routes had decided to suspend services in protest against the dilapidated conditions of the major highways. The roads of highways department (RHD) woke up to the reality and embarked on an urgent repair programme that the then communication minister personally supervised. Apparently aware of the experience of last year, the incumbent communication and railway minister has assured all that the same situation would not recur during the next Eid celebrations, which are only a few weeks away.…

It is not very long time for me to live in the Dream Country, USA. I was surprised when I hear September the first is holiday because of labour day because in my country and I think in the most of countries labour day is on 1 May. How the day became Labour day? It has a long story I will share a very small part of it. It was 1886 lots of workers went to demonstrations for eight-hour workday in Chicago. After this and many events like this, workers achieved some rights which includes eight- hour workday, but How is it going now? I would like to star my essay with Labour day in my country -Turkiye(Turkey)- It is on 1 May as International Worker day. It is national holiday in my country as most of countries. There is no problem for worker who is working for government but what about others. Do they do holiday in their day? For most of them the answer will be same we need to save money so we don’t need to have spare time. If we translate worker day to my language the situation will be more ridiculous because it is translated as Worker(labour) festival, like a Christmas for Christian or Ramadan for Muslim. Unfortunately it is not festival for worker it is festival for elite and middle class because they do holiday but the worker are still working. By the way it is holiday for student too. The only group which need to work are Worker whose the day called by their job. Today I went to a shop to buy something when I intented to go my roommate told me I think shop will be close. I told him I can check and if it is close I will be back soon, but when…
