Questions will be taken from material presented in lecture and reinforced in the textbook, plus the virtual labs (see below). The fourth exam is the final exam. It will be 25% cumulative but otherwise just like a regular exam, though it will be taken during the scheduled final exam time. There will be NO make-up exams. Missed exams will be calculated as the average of your other exams and only in cases with documented (e.g., with a doctor’s note) circumstances beyond your control. Problem Solving Process

My problem that I have is working for an unfair boss. He tends to treat everyone different, when it’s time for a raise it's not based on that persons work or good job ethics it’s base it on whether he likes them or not. When I'm at work I see many people getting their way with certain things, but if it was me or someone else it would be a whole different story towards us. I see cell phones being used, people not clocking out for their breaks which are things that people should be getting terminated for doing. The process I use to distinguish between problems and issues is coming up with a solution to them both for example forgetting lunch is an issue, but losing my Job is a problem. The way I can tell which is the problem is because a problem impacts people it’s not something you can just get rid of the problem in my situation is threats to be terminated if I get out of line and do something the other co-workers been doing and not getting in trouble for it. The way I can tell which is the issue is actually coming up with a solution for it, by doing that I will just let things flow out and see what the outcome would come out to be. Expressing the problem would be tricky task, but I wouldn't want to feel as if I'm on the edge of losing my job so the way I would express my problem is digging really deep to find the real problem, which is feeling as if I am no longer needed at my job. Expressing the issue wouldn't be that hard because to me an issue isn't as big as a problem. Issues can easily have solutions just have to depend on the situation such as mine. The issue is that I'm being treated unfairly is not a problem because I can work around it. The difference on how I express the problem and the issue is how I come up for different solutions for them such as the problem which is threats of losing my job. The solution I would come up for the problem is actually sitting down with my boss and seeing where I stand in that workplace. The issue on the other hand, the…
