Pro Animal Testing Essay

Over the past five decades, public support for animal testing has declined tremendously. Animal testing is the use of non-human animals in research and development projects, especially for purposes of determining the safety of substances such as foods or drugs. In my opinion, I do not support animal testing because there are better ways to conduct experiments, rather than using animals. Generally, there are the pros and cons of animal testing. Animals are involved in testing the products such as cleaning products that assist humans less than medicines or surgery. Animal rights proponents do not allow the human abuse of animals in any form (Cothran, 2002). Scientists have to develop alternative methods of testing and treats them in the ways respect their inherent value.
