President Project

[pic]Willard Mitt Romney
64 Years old
Republican
Formerly the Governor of Massachusetts
Currently Retired
Pros; Mitt Romney is a strong debater, an impressive campaigner, and a skilled fund raiser. He has assembled an effective and out front Presidential campaign for 2012. He clearly takes being a candidate very seriously. Mitt Romney's tax plan is the most practical and pragmatic which is why we wrote "Finally, a candidate steps up and offers a proven, tested, and verified solution to create millions of private sector jobs." That shouldn't surprise anyone because Mitt Romney specialized in turning companies that were under performing into proven winners. Mr. Romney's success as a capitalist provides a striking contrast to the failing socialism of Barack Obama.
Cons; although Mitt Romney may be the ultimate candidate, he may not be the ultimate politician. While the Governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney increased fees on gasoline, gun licenses, marriage licenses, and driver’s licenses which had a disproportionate impact on people with lower incomes. Low incomes may be something Mr. Romney is still learning more about.
Assessment
Mitt Romney has the best on the ground organization, the best fund raising arm, and the best skill set to come across well on camera and on stage. He creates the impression of a strong, decisive leader except its pretty clear that a number of his opponents have been somewhat more successful at creating jobs and running their States. Mitt Romney may appear to be the ultimate candidate but other candidates have proven themselves to be strong leaders and have produced excellent results. The real difference between former Governors Buddy Roemer, Gary Johnson and Mr. Romney is they can't poll above 1% nationally and Mitt Romney has been a front runner from the inception of his campaign. That speaks volumes about Mitt Romney' organizational and leadership skills.
What to Look For

Whether it is about taxes, spending, the bailouts, the debt ceiling or entitlements, a fundamental source of disagreement between Republicans and Democrats is whether the federal government should be a support system for the country or play an extremely limited role in business, social and day-to-day life. The tea party wing of the Republican party has used reducing the size of government as a rallying cry while progressive Democrats decry it as an elimination of the traditional safety net responsibilities of the federal government.…

One important question from the voters was what have “you” done to earn my vote in 2012? Obama states he did cut taxes for small businesses, ending the war in Iraq, going after Bin Laden, and finally put through Obamacare; created 5 million jobs. As he’s planning for more industrialized jobs, education, using savings from ending wars to rebuild America. Romney counteracts Obama’s ideals for earning the voter’s vote by stating he cut deficit in half and it has doubled. He said the middle class will have their health insurance premiums lowered by $5,400; instead it has doubled since the last,” and will double again under Obamacare.”Another question was how would “you” do to bring jobs back in the U.S.? Romney states he wants for China to raise the value of their currency as “China a currency…

I am an independent voter, but even I can tell flip-flops and politicians do not go well together. As for presidential candidate Mitt Romney, one may need to second guess the correlation of the two. Extensive research of the two candidates running for presidency in the 2012 election led me to conclude Mitt Romney cannot be depended on to keep a definitive opinion, on how he plans to approach certain issues our nation faces. His character displays indecisiveness over and over again surrounding a few specific issues. The only thing he seems to be sure about is his political party status, a Republican, and his membership in the 1% club. Romney seems to be for or against any issue based on the majority opinion, so he can get the most votes. A few examples on the nation’s issues in which Romney has proven to “flip-flop,” are abortion rights, gun-control, and immigration laws.…

The 2004 election was a hotly contested battle between incumbent George Bush and challenger John Kerry. Bush and Kerry were nominated by their parties to compete in the presidential election. Bush focused his campaign on portraying himself as a tough leader who could firmly make decisions, which was important to voters due to the new war on terror. Kerry centered his campaign around creating jobs and improving health care, as well as keeping America safe. After the first debate, Kerry was leading, and going into Election Day Kerry’s team thought they had an easy victory. However, Bush won the election, securing 286 of the electoral votes, while Kerry won 251 electoral votes.…

Within the first few moments of the debate, the contrasting tones and styles of both Romney and Obama became clear. Ready and willing to point out the faults in President Obama’s economic plans, the Republican candidate was engaging, full of energy and ready to launch into his detailed and extensive five-point plan aimed towards the revival of the economy. Throughout the course of the 90-minute session, Romney with the aid of his bullet points and passion delivered a well-prepared account of his stances of domestic policy including energy, healthcare, education and tax reform. In contrast, for the majority of the session, President Barack Obama seemed to be surprisingly ill-prepared and even without a clear answer or plan to combat with Romney’s concrete points. Rather than delving into his new and revolutionary ideas on how to kick-start the economy and improve the conditions of America’s workers and families, many times the President’s main rebuttal was his disagreement with the policies put forth by his opponent, yet offering little in…

Massachusetts Health Care Insurance Reform Law aka Romneycare was enacted in 2006 in an effort to achieve two primary goals. One was to have a universal insurance coverage throughout the state while the other one was to keep the expenditure on health care from rising exorbitantly. To meet the objectives, the state adopted three different approaches to cover the maximum population – the individual mandate, the employer requirements and the commonwealth care health insurance program. In the past six years, the effects of this law had been scrutinized, defended and even admired but the facts present romneycare as just another experiment.…

Health Care reform in the State of Massachusetts could be viewed by many as an advance toward a better way of live in United States. At the same time many people have oppressed it. I believe that everyone in favor or in disfavor of the health reform of 2006 has had its reasons. Many of those reasons are valid reasons backed by knowledge and experience while others are just an opinions of other people that have been portrait to them, while an individuals do not fully understand what is it they really arguing. The best place to start is to look at the big picture and compare the health industry around the globe. Compare the different systems in place and come up with the best one or hybrid of many. I strongly believe the Health Care system in the States is not the best one out there, by far. I would even say that is the worst one out of all other developed nations. I would present my arguments below and everyone can decide for them self’s. I will begin my research with researching the major differences in other developed countries, and compare them to the system in place in United States. Then I will compare and evaluate the changes that Mitt Romney did in his health care reform and will discuss if it working or does not.…

President Barack Obama has a lot of people’s votes because he can relate. He grew up in somewhat of a similar lifestyle as most of us Americans. Romney on the other hand, was born and raised rich, so he can’t really relate. Most would also prefer Obama because of his views on gay marriage. We have more important things to worry about, yet Romney wishes to ban it, as if it affects our economy.…
