Methamphetamine (also known as meth) is a very serious and dangerous drug that has become a huge problem particularly in the state of Missouri. Over the past 5 years, Missouri has become the number one state for meth related incidents. My partner Alex and I are proposing a law that requires a prescription for all sales of cold and allergy remedies containing pseudoephedrine; the main ingredient used in producing meth.

The over the counter sales of this product have made it very easy and attainable to produce and sell mass quantities of this highly dangerous drug.
