Polynean Advantages And Disadvantages
Polynesian is one of the examples of countries that is collapsed because of relations with friendly neighbors. Next about history of polynesian, polynesian culture was from Bismarck Archipelago, and then the ancient polynesian built canoes to travel across the pacific ocean to expand territory without using compasses. After they sailed where the want to settle in they are interested in three islands which are Mangareva, Pitcairn, and Henderson. The first island that is interested by Polynesian is Mangareva because Mangareva is also the hub. Mangareva has a variety of good resources, for instance, Fish and shellfish in lagoon, fresh water(had soil and water), farming, and forest( had tree to make canoes), but Mangareva had drawbacks which

However, the disadvantages of pitcairn are a tiny island with steep steps, in adequate land for agriculture, and did not have any coral reef. Additionally, islanders was lack of fishhooks, so it was hard to find food supplies. The last island was Henderson, Henderson knew as the biggest island of the Pitcairn Islands. The advantages of this islands are resources(Many birds to eat, lots of seafood), however, Henderson did not have fresh water, no basalt for tools, no beaches, and small trees. The next agenda is about trading. These three island was famous in trading because some might have some substances that other do not have, so they can trade their goods, and also they do not care about times because when they sailed, they spend approximately 2 weeks. From time to time at 1500 ad all trade stopped, Europeans “finally” discovered two islands which are Pitcairn and Henderson in 1600 but no one left there event Mangareva had approximately hundred islanders left there and they had no contact with other
