Polar Bear Research Papers
Polar bears are found only in the artic circle on packed ice. They depend heavily on packed ice. These bears are unique because they have white fur but black skin. Their fur is white because it reflects sunlight and it camouflages themselves from preys. A polar bears skin is black to absorb sunlight and keep them warm.

Polar bears are the most carnivorous type of bear. They eat the fat of seals but leave the remaining part of the seal for other animals to enjoy. They try to exclusively eat ringed and bearded seals but will also eat walruses. Polar bears will also eat beluga and bowhead whale carcasses, bird eggs and rarely vegetation if there is no other food around. Polar bears spend half of their life hunting but will only be successful

    Polar bears are extreamly well adapted tohunt their prey under water. Keeping warm is no problem for polar bears infact sometimes polar bears have to lay flat on their stomachs on the ice just to cool of. Polar bears have the thickest fur of any bear species.
