When a video game is released, many people see is as the newest video masterpiece. It is something that shouldn't be touched, and will remain throughout generations for gamers to play. However, depending on the time the game was released, sooner or later that game will become outdated, or obsolete. People will tend to forget and move on to the next newly released game of their choosing. Back in 2002, a GameBoy game by the name of Pokemon Ruby was released by Nintendo, and it took over the gaming world by storm! They are releasing a remake of the 2002 Pokemon Ruby and they are calling it Pokemon Omega Ruby. Surprisingly, this infuriated many gamers, as they think the game was already a masterpiece, why change it? The first version of the game should be sacremont! Though, in all actuality, seeing a game that was made at the start of 2002, and remade using the technology we have in 2015; there are lots of things to change; many for the better. You can see the clear differences in the games when you first start a new profile. The graphical improvement from Pokemon Ruby to Omega Ruby is quite impressive, and allows Omega Ruby to implement a lot more features into its programming. The first town you start off in his Little Root, and in Pokemon Ruby, all you would see is a two-dimensional surface with several houses. Nothing too impressive. The townsfolk would all walk in a X and Y motion path, which means up, down, right, left. To start off your story, all you had to do was walk into the forest and encounter your first pokemon. Thats nice and dandy, but it gets rid of all interactions with other characters within the game, and it doesn't make the player feel connected to the environment he or she is in.
