Piggy's Letter To Lord Of The Flies
Rationale:
This written assignment is based on William Golding’s novel “Lord of the Flies.” This novel tells the story of a group of English schoolboys whose airplane crashed on a deserted island after being shot down during war. With no rules, the boys start dividing into several groups, some of which are organized, and some messy. After a certain period of time, leadership becomes a competition and the boys would fight over power and leadership.

He was one of a kind, when we first woke up from the ugly incident we faced, Piggy found a tool known as a conch, I started using it in a silly way and started to play around with it, Piggy then popped up and used this conch in a useful way where he managed to gather us all around, he believed in unity, order, and discipline. Piggy’s ideas were of tremendous benefit, first the conch, then the makeshift sundial idea that helped the boys in telling the time. He also sacrificed his vison for the sake of saving himself and the children by building a signal fire using his eye glasses, he also suggested that we all unite and work in organized groups to build …show more content…
We then shifted into killing people for POWER!! I think that we deserve death penalties for doing this. Piggy was a symbol for innovation, social responsibility, order, and most importantly sharp insight. He was the closest thing to an adult we had on the island, I think that all his ideas were motivated from his desire to be accepted by the guys, one of the old guys, and not being considered as what they so-called the “ugly fat
