The field of Pharmacy requires a passion for saving the lives of people in this world. I want to become a pharmacist because of my passion to help people. The profession of a pharmacist is not an easy task, but it is worth it. Millions of people in the world trust pharmacists for their health. It is one of the most interesting and trusted professionals in the world today. Pharmacy is a field of opportunities in the immediate future, it is a profession of constant learning and growth in the long term. My desire to become a pharmacist started when I came to this country when I was 11 years old. There are innovations of medicines every day in the market, which a pharmacist has to become familiar with in order to perform their job; which implies to make sure the medication will have the most beneficial results on the patient and to offer the safe use of the prescription. Every day there are more diseases in the world, for which there might not be a iois no cure for, like those who suffer from cancer. Pharmacists play an important role in the healthcare systems, since they can work in other health environments as hospitals, schools, nursing homes,pharmaceutical industry,etc. It is a career of opportunities in the health field. Pharmacist possess the exceptional combination of medical knowledge and skills that are demanded in order to run a pharmacy. The necessity of pharmacists is in constant growth in the community.I would like to gain the appropriate knowledge to support them, because more than a job it is a passion for me. In conclusion, Pharmacy is a healthcare field which has become a passion for me, which will open many opportunities in my life. The greatest satisfaction would be to challenge myself and to become a doctor of pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University.
