Imagine a world where students come home from school and take the time to unwind and relax. It has been proven that almost three quarters of Canadian parents think that homework is a household stress. So why is homework still being assigned at schools, especially for younger grades? In recent years, the question of whether or not homework should be banned from elementary schools and limited to one hour per weekday in high school has been widely discussed. According to a Stanford Researcher, too much homework can negatively children. It takes their lives away from school, where family, friends, and social activities matter (Parker). The opponents of this educational approach argue that if students are not given homework to do, they will not become successful in the future. However, banning homework from elementary school and limiting it to one hour per weekday in high school is beneficial in terms of health, academics, and real world experiences.…

Some students don’t know what to do when the teacher assign their homework. They don’t know what to do because when the teachers assign them homework the night before to do, they spent all night doing it. Then the next day at school they are way too tired to process any work and lesson the teachers are teaching. They would just fall asleep and pay less attention. That causes the student to not know what to do and they just write down random answers. Then when they turn it in the teachers mark it wrong and give them a bad grade. Eventually with all these bad grades in their file it will bring their grades down a lot. This would just give more stress to the students and drain their energy. An average person should be getting about seven to eight hours of sleep a night not two or three…

Now college is like a new turning point for people who have just graduated out of high school and students are very bias about going to college or not. So I think they should go straight into the work force and there are some reasons why student don’t go to college. Students don’t want to go to college because maybe they think of it as a waste of time and that they have no need to go to another school to learn a specific course for 4 years and that they can do it themselves. For examples some artist in the music industry didn’t go to college like J Cole or Rihanna didn’t study music just to be an artist. Some animators are pros just from teaching themselves instead of learning it at colleges. Another reason would be that some…

In the State of California, a semiautomatic rifle is considered to be an assault weapon if it occupies a detachable ammunition magazine or one of various other features, including a pistol grip, flash suppressor or grenade launcher (Feinstein, 2013). While staunch supporters of the 2nd Amendment often uphold that assault rifles have accounted for a very small percentage of firearm-related violent crimes, the author of this paper argues that semiautomatic rifles have become the weapon of choice in mass assault crimes (mainly in the United States) and therefore backs the ban on civilian ownership of these particular types of firearms.…

“The universe is a good creation of God, and sees no evil in it. It is a cosmos-an orderly harmonious system. However, there are indications that he sees the universe in its infancy, complete in every form but growing to perfection and immortally. In the lord of the flies by William Golding, the beast in the boys on the island was their alter ego which is in everyone. I think mankind is essentially good because everyone is born good not evil. Then at the same time we have that alter ego that lures us into the bad. But as you can see I will have willing proof on how mankind is good not bad.…

Growing up in the country is like a fresh breath of air, you need it but once you've taken it in your life gets infinity better. Like air, everyone needs family, someone to take care of or even to take care of you. There is no place to do that better than the country, there you can have both. I've had personal experience with growing up in the country and it is because of growing up where I did that made me the person I am today. Growing up in the country I always had my family not matter what, making those connections made it easy to stay connected to my family even now when we all don't live so close. I am one out of eight children also one of the oldest which meant I had to help with the younger siblings. I didn't mind, doing it actually helped me gain a great relationship with each of my siblings. Living out in the country not only gave me a chance to be with my brothers and sisters, but also my mother and father. I remember helping my father with the animals; horses, cows, chickens, you name it we had it.…

Imagine: It is the year 2040 and you are one hundred+ years of age. You are lying in your soft nursing home bed and you start thinking about your childhood. You smile while reminiscing in the warm memories of your past, like the times when you would play outside with your neighbor friends- playing hide-and-seek, tag, and the other “down and dirty games” that you enjoyed so much. Now you look outside your window back in reality. You see a tumbleweed roll by and a squirrel actively chasing its acorn, but no children are in sight. Letting out a sigh, you remember that this was your doing. The children of 2040 would have been much better off if you hadn’t let the P.E. classes in high school get cut out in favor of the academics, way back in 2012. Trust me, you do not want this to be your future.…

I did not look forward to coming to this class at all. I hated writing. I absolutely hated it. All I knew about writing was the classic paper with an introduction, body paragraphs with two commentaries after every one concrete detail, and you better not forget to re-state everything you have already said in the paper, that has already bored you to death, in the conclusion paragraph. I have always been the type of writer who throws together a paper that might not completely make sense and hoped for a B. I know this is not the best thing to do, it is not good at all honestly, but could anyone actually enjoy writing about if a man is morally good after his whole town accused him of having an inappropriate relationship with a young girl? I never…
