The Business Department at MHCC is always trying to help our students expand out into the work environment while also helping our local businesses utilize the talent that is available. We respect all organizations and their employers who want to develop their business and grow into successful community partners.
Our department is offering to you the use of interns which we feel would benefit your organization in many ways. By hiring an intern, we can do the brunt of the work for you and save you valuable time while sending you quality people that we can endorse to work for you. Other reasons why you may want to consider hiring an MHCC student as an intern are:
They bring a fresh perspective & can provide new ideas
They’re at ease with social media
They’re productive & increase diversity
They’re courteous
They’re trying to impress with the opportunity to impress you and identify themselves as a potential future employee

They learn quickly & offer you a cost-effective program for having highly qualified and motivated students
The program is available to second year students who have at least 45 credits and a 3.25 GPA, and must have at least 18 credits in the area in which they want to intern. This is great for you and would allow you to have someone who has training in whatever specific area you may have needs.
The cost to your company would be $8.50 an hour in wages, and the interns would be available to you 12 to 20 hours per week, depending on your needs.
