Pitbulls were bred for a greater purpose than fighting. Pitbulls are not dangerous or mean. There are many misconceptions and false information about Pit Bulls. Attacks do not come for no reason at all. If a person wants to blame anyone it should be the owner not the dog. Some may feel the true need to ban the dog from their country or state. It is his owner that decides whether or not it becomes viscous. If a pitbull is mistreated and abused it will become dangerous and will be more likely to hurt another person or animal. If the owner treats the dog correctly and cares for him, he will grow to be a loving animal. Even dogs who have been mistreated and used in dog fights with their previous owner have been able to be rehabilitated. Many of the dogs of former football player Michael Vick have been able to relive a different lifestyle. There are several stories of his dogs being adopted and becoming a complete other
