Persuasive Essay Spanish Bullfighting
Bullfighting is a festive event presenting the Spanish tradition that results in the death of the bull or bullfighter. According to source 1, the bull is "fighting for its life and dies after a process of birth, growth and preparation." These violent events are allowed in eight countries (source 4) and are believed to have taught a beautiful art to entertain. Bullfighting should continue to be allowed because it conserves the audience’s presence and preserves the culture of its origin. Bullfighting is a popular celebration and should not be discontinued because of its violent aspects because it preserves the authenticity of the event. For example, since 2010 bullfights have grown with a 13.6% increase, indicating the great interest of the audience and the importance it establishes in society (source 2). This means that the events are attracting the attention of other cultures to teach the Spanish tradition. Also during the table from source 2, there was an increase in each category but that of taurine schools. This shows that the taurine aspects are growing similar to the capacity of the audience of bullfighting events. On the other hand, in source 1, it is said that a negative aspect is the death of the bull or the bullfighter. They say that they should lose this characteristic within the essence of the brave party.
