Imagine you and your family going to the beach. You and your kids are so excited to go and swim and get their feet in the cool blue water. But what if when you get there you and your kids are so sad. There's garbage everywhere! Then you see a bird land and falls to the ground from a six pack of plastic around its neck.. Then your whole family's heartbreaks. Nobody likes to be sad or heartbroken that's why everybody should recycle so stuff like that doesn't happen.
One reason everybody should recycle is animals are dying and starving. From garbage being everywhere. Acorrding to www.humanesocity.org they found birds poisined from lead weight. Also they found skunks with yogurt cups on their heads not being able to eat. Also pelicans had fishhooks in their stomachs. According to www.sciencedaily.com, in 2008 there was so much garbage they had 378,000 volunteers help cleanup garbage. Also garbage causes pollution and climate change and habitat destruction. Each year garbage kills over a million animals. From some garbage wrapping around animals flippers and amputating them. Additionally garbage can cut marine life and create infections. Also ocean currents have been carrying debris into all major oceanic gyres (spiral or vortex) for decades. They recorded a tin entered in the ocean In 1986 and will decompose until 2036. That is why everyone should recycle.
Clearly, everyone should recycle. Reasons to recycle are people can save animals, help our oceans, and people can have fun at the beach by just recycling. A solution for change is people should consider what trash can do in our environment. If people just recycle they change the world around them. That is why everyone should

Since garbage is taken to landfills most people perceive the issues of their trash as out of sight-out of mind type of situation, but the amount of trash currently present on Earth is no big fuss because it would not cover much. In this article the support of this sub claim comes from A. Clark Wiseman of Spokane's Gonzaga University, he discloses “At the current rate, Americans could put all of the trash generated over the next 1,000 years into a landfill 100 yards high and 35 miles square. Or dig a similar-size hole and plant grass on top after it was…

When we recycle, recyclable materials are reprocessed into new products, and as a result the amount of rubbish sent to landfill sites reduces. There are over 1,500 landfill sites in the UK, and in 2001, these sites produced a quarter of the UK’s emissions of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. Also what happens to the land we use to dump all our rubbish, eventually it will fill up and we won’t have anywhere else to dump our rubbish at, we will end up with more landfills the more we recycle.…

In 2013 we produced 254 million tons of waste. Of this 254 million tons: we recycled 34%, which isn't a bad number. But of the rest of our waste that ends up in landfills: half could be recycled. That’s 84 million tons of waste that could be reused. So why are we just letting it get buried with the rest of our garbage? Recycling may be expensive and inconvenient in the beginning. In recent decades, there has been an increasing interest in environmental awareness in the United States, as well as in many other countries. People are becoming aware of our current global warming issue, the decreasing numbers of one-use resources, and the great rise in air and water pollution. We have been seeking ways to treat and prevent these problems in our current society. One of the major ways Americans have been trying to combat the issue of decreasing numbers of one-use resources is to use more renewable resources that we are able to recycle. If recycling is available to all of us to use, should it be mandatory that we use renewable resources and recycle them after use? Is it worth the extra time and effort to put our cans in a separate bin for trash collection? Some of the benefits of recycling include: well-run recycling programs cost less to operate than waste collection, land-fills, and incineration; recycling creates 1.1 million jobs; and thousands of U.S. companies have saved millions of dollars through their voluntary recycling programs. Some of the downfalls to recycling include inconvenience and a sense of false security on the current status of our planet. I believe that the benefits of recycling greatly outweigh the downfalls, but what does this mean on a moral or ethical level? Just because an activity is obviously good to the majority of society doesn’t necessarily mean we should all have to participate.…

Between 1960 and 1986 the amount of American trash has grown 80% from 87.5mill tons to 157 tons per year, not including the 90 million tons created by industry every year. In 1988 over 70% of the landfills were closed, the US government then had to figure out how we were going to deal with this huge amount of trash each year. The 4 main solutions they came up with were opening more landfills, incineration, shipping out of the country, and oh yeah Recycling. Three out of these four were very bad, both ecologically and ethically. But the fourth one on the other hand was very good, it reduced energy use to make knew products, saved the wilderness by not dumping trash on it, and best of all created basically new products without almost any waist.…

There are ways we can avoid from making our landfills overpacked and some of those would be to recycle our trash, reusing old food containers, and even handing down clothes instead of throwing them away. We have to protect our environments while we can, because there is going to be a point when recycling and reusing is not going to matter, because we have polluted the Earth too much and we will not be able to reverse our effects.…
