Obesity has become a common issue in many American lives. In America, there is currently about “seventy-eight million adults and thirteen million children that are dealing with obesity, which accounts for more than one-third of the entire United States population” (“Adults Obesity Facts”). Obesity in adults and children is an issue that continues to grow. With a combination of education and government involvement, it is possible can decrease the number of obese Americans. Finding a solution for obesity can result in multiple benefits for the country like wasting less tax money on people who require medical assistance as a result of obesity.
