Deer farming should not be allowed because it has severely helped to spread Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).Many other diseases also are found more in captive deer than in wild deer. Some of these other diseases are Tuberculosis, and Brucellosis. Chronic Wasting Disease is a neurological and fatal disease that stops the deer from functioning until it can't walk or eat. A lot more cases of Chronic Wasting Disease are found in captive or farmed deer at testing centers. When a deer contracts Chronic Wasting Disease, it requires the deer to drink so much water that often the deer often drown themselves and die in the river. This often leads to the disease infecting the stream, lake or pond that it died in.This is especially bad because it can then spread to the wild population of deer and to livestock, making the meat inedible. . Deer farmers genetically manipulate the bucks in the herd to grow over 500 inches of freakish and unnatural antlers, which is mainly a burden for the deer.
