Why is it important to present both sides of an argument when writing a persuasive message to a potentially hostile audience?

It is important to present both sides of the argument in a persuasive message to a potentially hostile audience because one has to try and avoid angering the audience even more. What one aims to do is to persuade the audience and let them know that they acknowledge the audiences view on the matter at hand.
To show that one acknowledges the audiences view, one needs to catch the audience’s attention this can be done through addressing their side of the argument letting the audience know that their point of view has been taken into consideration and then explaining to them why it is also important that they also listen and at least try and give consideration on ones point of view so that they may better understand the decisions that have been or are about to be made.
To achieve both sided persuasive message one needs to acknowledge the audience and address their concerns before explaining their contrasting point of view in the message. By using the “you attitude,” Using positive language in the construction of one’s message and making sure you do not offend people by not respecting their culture and beliefs in the wording of one’s message sends out a tone in the message that portrays that you care about the audience and are

considerate and sensitive to their culture and diversity as well as their views. The AIDA model can also be used to structure ones presentation of a persuasive message. It is structured to capture the audience’s attention, interest, desires and finally, making them take action towards what one requires.
When the audience has been acknowledged one can now get the Audience interested by stating “however” though the audiences view may be right the decision made may have been made using another view which may have been deemed more effective and also works or worked very
