Personal Strengths and Weaknesses
A reason that this country works well is that everyone has diverse abilities which can contribute to everyday life. Some people let those abilities shine at work, in their personal life or both. As people have their strengths, they also have their weaknesses. There is a problem to improve those weaknesses when the weakness is not identified. Once the weak point is identified it needs to be resolved. A plan of action for improvement helps in solving the situation. In this paper, I will identify abilities and skills that I possess that contribute positively in my work environment, in my personal life, and in my learning team. I will also identify personal areas that need improvement, and outline a plan of action for improvement. Throughout my life, my strengths and weaknesses tend to gain more clarity, as I grow older. When I was younger, I did not focus too much on this part of myself. I was interested in child things. I must now use my strengths to improve my weaknesses to strengthen my faults. Several of my strengths are centered on my profession because the majority of my time is spent there. Some of my qualities are beneficial to different situations, while the other qualities hinder. Although we describe our strengths as positive attributes and our weaknesses as negative attributes, they make us who and what we are as individuals. Because of these qualities, each of us is unique in different ways. It is important to be conscious not just our personal strengths, but also our weaknesses, so we can inquire about help in the areas we need strengthening. Acquiring a better understanding of these qualities will help me get closer to graduating and obtaining my Bachelor 's of Business Management. Professionally, I have the ability to track different projects at different times. The ability to track different projects simultaneously has been very helpful when trying to work on a deadline. Many employers

In a study released, 87% of workers worldwide are emotionally disconnected from their workplaces and are less likely to be productive; making work a source of frustration rather than one of fulfillment. (Gallup, 1993) The statistics illustrate a lack of commitment to learning and understanding of one’s own strengths and weaknesses, amongst the population. People need to think about the person they are and where their strengths and weaknesses lie because if they don’t stop to consider what they’re good at and what they need to improve, they will find themselves in the 87% of the population who don’t enjoy what they do. Following this discovery, I completed a personality test on 16Personalities.com that stated my strengths and weaknesses following answering a series of questions, in hopes to have a better understanding to how my strengths and weaknesses play into the role as a paramedic. The personality test revealed that I am altruistic, a good team player, possess good communications, but also am too selfless and sensitive; these results will give me a better comprehension as to how and why a career as a paramedic is the right fit for me.…

2008). People do multitasking to finish their multiple works in short amount of time, such as, watching television while typing essay. This sound like it is a good advantage of multitasking, but it’s not, because multitasking has many disadvantages. Recently, research shows that multitasking affects brain. The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and performance reported a 2001 study by Joshua Rubinstein, David Meyer and Jeffery Evans on brains executive control process that during multitasking there are two processing stages. First, there is a goal shifting, in which brain decides to do a new task instead of the original task. Second, there is a rule in which brain activation in which the brain turns off the rules associated with the task and turns on the rules associated with second task (Jarmon, Amy L. 2008). Furthermore, it also divides our attention between two tasks; having our attention divided into different tasks gives a higher chance of missing some details. As a result, it decreases the quality of our output, so that is why it is much better to finish the job than do another job. Doing multitasking will continue over stimulate our brain. Another, disadvantage would be that multitasking would give lots of stress. People try to perform multiple jobs at once, they get stressed out by changing the work and people would have a hard time finishing the…

Due to this, sometimes he overlooked the minute but important details of the projects, which in turn impacted his quality of work. When he shared his problem with me, I recommended that he use a diary for documenting his work according to priority. After giving him this feedback, I noticed that he always had his diary handy and there was a considerable improvement in his efficiency and quality of…
