Personal Statement: A Career As A Nurse
Ever since I was around 10 years old, I have been interested in the healthcare section. This is because I love the rewarding and fulfilling feeling I get when I help people in need. And being a nurse will encourages me to develop sets of skills that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I have an achievement-oriented personality and strong work ethics for the things that I am passion about. I therefore seek challenges that will help me build on my expertise and vocational skills.
Another reason why I am so passionate about being a nurse is because on my Easter holiday this year, I went to The Gambia in West African, the country where my family is originally from. I went into one of the hospitals to visit a sick relative and I was so disappointed it the …show more content…
It’s so interesting to me because it teaches you a lot deal about people. It’s also an important factor when you want to be a nurse because you meet patients from different backgrounds. My career aim is to gain all the knowledge and hands on skills that I can use when I achieve my goal of becoming a nurse. I look forward to going to university because I think it will challenge me to be more independent and I will see things in a different point of view.
