The internship program will probably occur every other Friday but it will take up the whole day which forces me to get any work or take any tests ahead of time. My PTP on the other hand is what decides if I even graduate or not and it’s

Being a big sister I have always been introduced into the basics of how to take care a children. For my senior project I chose the self-development option where I took a class at WITC on “Intro to Child Care.” The class had a Pass/Fail grading system. I decided to take the class as my senior project to expand my prior knowledge on childcare. Also I took the class to determine if I want to pursue a career in childcare so I would know what colleges to go to and what programs I would need to pursue. The initial goals I had before starting the class were to complete the class, to expand my knowledge and to decide whether or not to pursue childcare as a career.…

On the self-assessment inventory, I scored between 76 and 88 out of 100 on each key competency except for the Change and Across Cultures competencies. My scores were within the numerical range for 68% of managerial professionals that completed this self-evaluation. For the most part, I see myself as very good on a number of the skills such as balancing my personal and work life, embracing uniqueness, supporting the goals of a team, and making ethical business decisions. For the Across Cultures competency, I am lacking in global experience and the skills to recognize the differences of various cultures and customs. In order to have a successful journey through college one must prepare extensively beforehand. I learned this concept after my parents told tales about what they wished they had done during high school to prepare for college. In order to lay the groundwork for my future education, I enrolled in advanced dual credit courses, took many significant tests, researched college campuses that I was interested in, and also filled out numerous applications. Together, the aforementioned steps set me up for an easy acceptance when the time arrived.…

As a child, I always admired and respected men and women who served the United States in the Navy and armed forces. These positions required a lot of sacrifice which meant that only the strongest willed of them made it through. That will power seemed to distinguish them from other members of society, they were mentally and physically stronger. When it came time for me to look into applying for colleges, I looked for places that had good engineering programs, top tier educations, and a structured student campus life. Many universities had the former two requirements, however, very few had the latter requirement. While discussing college options with my computer engineering teacher, he recommended I look into the United States Naval Academy…

During my college level education, I have been very intrigued by the field of science. Specifically, the subject which interests me the most is microscopic molecules and organisms. The class that I believe sparked my interest was my second semester of general biology at Paradise Valley Community College. During this class, I was introduced to the intricate details of cells and the idea that microscopic organisms outnumber all other living things on Earth. This class also provided me with information about viruses, which quickly became most interesting topic for me.…
