Personal Narrative: William's Rehab Center
Mallory's POV
After keeping me in the hospital for a week to keep an eye on the baby, the doctor admitted me into the William's Rehab Center. 27 weeks have passed and I am now 37 weeks with Calum's child. My mom has been there for me in a very estranged way and barely makes any eye contact. I know that she is hurt that I am not following her dreams, but what can I do about it? Nothing, zilch.
This baby has been causing me the worst of contractions, some so severe that I was rushed to hospital because I misunderstood them for labor. Doctor Juliard, who has remained my doctor, assured me that they were just Braxton Hicks and that they were bound to happen.
"Mallory, you need to stay focused," My counselor, Blake, says cutting me out of my thoughts …show more content…
"Mal, I can't do this right now. You are in labor and your hormones are going crazy right now. If I took advantage of you right now, that would be like taking advantage of a drunk women," Blake said, as he seated me in the backseat of his big SUV.
"But Blake, if I want you then you aren't taking advantage of me," I whined, sounding like a desperate little teenager.
"I am done with this topic Mallory, let's talk about the baby. Do you have any name ideas that you are going to use?" Blake seemed uncomfortable, as if I was the first person he had ever dealt with in this situation.
"If it's a girl then her name is going to be Nina Mirabel, simply because I really like the name Nina. If it turns out being a boy then his name is going to be Aiden James, A.J for short," I smiled to myself thinking about the names.
"Have you decided what last name that the baby will have?" I think Blake was trying to make small talk.
"Umm, even though Calum really doesn't want the baby, I think that I am going to give them the last name Hood," Thinking about Calum makes me wish that it was him taking me to the
