Personal Narrative: The Existence Of God
IfF god was existent, what would be his fear? He’s so far away that we could never touch him.

2) Why haven’t you heard about this story? Because it isn’t emphasized at all, even in the bible. It was a “scam over exclamation” to shut people up about that in the future. And yet somehow this isn’t brought up.

3) If we really did create this building, where is that existence on earth. We claim we’ve found Noah’s ark, and where Jesus was crucified, but we have never found ANYTHING about this building.

Think about it now, we claim to have found this evidence of Christianity just by what was written years ago-and more than likely distorted from what it actually said if it was ever true. And again, written. If people want to slap on “Photoshop”, anyone can slap on a few words here and there. And yet again, this “God” is more explain than the videos and accounts man has had in the flesh. This is where people are too scared to admit the truth. That or they’re blinded by their own happiness being caused by themselves. How could we have done so much research and looking into on the bible, but not look at what’s in front of our face more?? It’s not like you can go to a pyramid site and yell “act like you see an alien in the sky!” Let’s be honest, at least one person wouldn’t go with it. If you haven’t seen a video, I don’t blame you if you think I’m crazy there. But if you look up these videos, they’re always in the same climate area and same reactions from everyone in view

2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar[b] and settled there.

3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole

I never thought how interesting it would be to visit a different place of worship besides Christianity. Since the day I was born I’ve been a Christian and whatever anyone else believes in is wrong and that they are going to hell if they don’t believe in Christianity. About 3 years ago I visited the International Buddhist Progress Society a Buddhist temple in Naperville. Buddhism from what I learned looks more like a way of life or guidelines to it rather than a religion. Buddhism tells you how you could live life better but doesn’t scare you with the prospect of hell instead you live with ignorance. My own history with Christianity still made me doubt or fear the conquences of going to this temple. Part of me believed that I be punished by…

Therefore, when we are told that a man, who was stone cold dead for nearly 3 days, comes back to life via divine intervention, we have a right to require the highest proof of the event. However, I have shown that Christianity, in my opinion, cannot show the highest form of proof for the resurrection. In fact, it has the lowest form of proof – 2nd and 3rd hand stories recounted by either unknown or questionable individuals- Or, by people who were not witnesses of the…

Here I am in honor classes, but why I’m not smart enough to be here. This is going to be too difficult for me. All I see when I look around are all these outstandingly intelligent people. The only reason I am here is because Mrs. Lee’s class was straightforward or maybe the other people in that class were not very bright. Whatever the reason, I am here and already homework on the first day of school, the other kids probably don’t have homework. I really don’t want to be here, I want to be the smart one again. I feel strange and uncomfortable when I have to speak out loud like if the people around me are judging me.…

Filled with nervous excitement, my ten-year-old-self ran to the bulletin board eager to discover whether or not he was accepted to the choir. As he read the list of who were chosen, his heart sank; he was not on the list. “Maybe I should give up singing ” he thought; “Maybe my voice is not good enough”. However, he refused to despair; he was determined to achieve his goals despite this failure.…

This is not the only time we will run into this problem, especially when dealing with topics found in the first 11 chapters of the Book of Genesis. These early chapters—which include accounts of the Creation, the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, and the biblical Flood—are very different from those that follow, in large part because of the nature of the evidence surrounding the stories. It is always difficult to determine how much material in the Bible can be taken as true history, in our definition of the term today, and how much material is instead presented to illustrate an ethical or moral…

My mother, “Regina Hopkins,” has been a positive influence in my life. She has raised 6 kids all by herself as well as earned a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a City College in Gainesville, Florida. My mother has been through pretty much everything a person can go through outside of war and was still able to be there and provide for all 6 of her kids. In high school, my mother wanted to play football and couldn't because she was a girl and back-in-the-day women were not allowed to play football with the guys. However, she remained strong by raising 6 kids and independently took care of all of us on her own. My mother has several qualities that I would love to develop. The first quality she has is balance; she certainly knows how to make…

Aliens built the Egyptian pyramids. Recent research supports the theory that the Pyramids were built long before humans inhabited the area now known as Egypt. It is also nearly impossible for the Egyptians to have lifted and moved the limestone brick used to build these massive structures. Only a more advanced form of life could have constructed such an enormous undertaking, while using advanced mathematics and geography that were not yet known to ancient peoples.…

Every human struggles everyone has hardship. When I was young I began to notice that maybe it is hard to understand what other people struggle with. The start of a mundane life began as usual a bus ride to school, but today something else happened a flash of yellow a soundless luxury sports car zoomed bass by a Lamborghini. As the car passed by everyone looked at it with amazement as the never seen a car pass from this part of the street. I began to wonder when will I get one with imaginary job I will live the high life. The bus hits a bump on the road I am begging to rationalize who much work will it take to achieve greatness to struggle to overcome adversity.…

Ever since I was born, I was a military brat. Not knowing where to call home, or if any place could be home, I moved. I moved six times, four of those places were towns that nobody could think about. Germany, North Carolina, Alaska, North Carolina, Germany, and Alaska, yet no place to call home. May 22, 1999, my first day on this world; Kronach hospital had its first American baby in their hands, yet they acted like I was a different species. The only event I remember was when I was about one. While I was one, I grabbed everything in my reach, even a grill handle. As a baby, I did not know that the handle was moving, the grill top had smashed my thumb. Ever since that event, I now have a starfish mark on the side of my right thumb from where the stiches were.…

I traveled with a small group for fourteen days to see the significant archaeological sites of the Holy Land. It was at one place in particular, the Sea of Galilee, that I experienced a sudden internal peace. I recalled the words spoken by Jesus to Peter, as Peter began to sink into the sea, “You do not have much faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” It was then that I finally understood that my desire to know more about the Bible’s origins did not mean that I had lost my faith in its contents. Actually, quite the opposite had occurred. It was the questioning that brought a greater understanding of the foundation of my…

“Graduation, the hush-hush magic time of frills and gifts and congratulations and diplomas.” You weren’t lying when you said that Maya Angelou. May 19th, 2013 I had dreamt of that day for almost four years. I know I can’t be the only person who feel this way. I remember it as if it was just yesterday. So many different emotions going through my mind all at once. Happiness, Sadness, I felt relieved because it was almost over but at the same time I felt anxious and overly excited to just leave and go far away. 389 seniors were going to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas.
