Personal Narrative-Selling Drugs In High School
My heart beating so fast, I’m scared it may jump right out of my chest, I look up and face the entrance to the worst place to be, the Principal’s office. Terrified, I follow behind Mrs. Taylor through the doorway. The first person I see is my best friend sitting at the round table with all of her things out of both her backpack and purse spread out, everywhere. For some odd reason, my friend and I are both being searched. “What is going on? I most definitely have nothing to be afraid of, there is nothing in my bags,” I think to myself. Out of curiosity, I ask Coach A as well as the two police officers in the room, “May I ask why we are being searched?” The school officer, officer Crance replies, “You have obviously have told the right people that you have been selling drugs on campus.” “Excuse me?” I immediately bark back at him, “I think you have the wrong set of girls.” “We’ll see about that, bags on the table.”

She was taken out of school for 9 days and in school suspension for 3 days because the school officals found a lighter and a cigar pack in her purse. I on the other hand, was sent to alternative school for what was supposed to be 90 days, but I ended up spending a total of 160 days in the worst school of my life. It was not because I acted up in school while I was there, honest. My highschool kept me in this horrible school for way over the amount of days I was told I would serve in alternative. I was also sent to youth court, because of the fact that marijuana is illegal. With that being said, I believe I deserved every bit of my punishments. In a way, my punishment was extremely over due, as well as the way I was taken out of class to be searched because of a hearsay. Although, in my personal opinion, it had a justice ending. I learned my lesson, I will never smoke pot again, nor will I ever be dumb enough to drop anything in my purse and forget about it being there. Therefore, justice was
