Personal Narrative: Pokemon Abuse
I am decently mature, and I've played a decent amount of Pokemon games, (yellow, crystal, emerald, pearl etc). If you are worried about me showing someone the beta, I promise I won't. People would think I'm weird if I show them this out of nowhere. I used to play Minecraft a lot but It got kinda boring, I still know how Minecraft works. I have lots of time to do it, I'm barely doing anything else right now so I can beta test whenever.

Bullying is not an action we wish to see or experience. Girl-to-girl bullying is not wished upon as well, especially when you are apart of it. Since the beginning of my school education I seemed to become a magnet of bullies. In elementary school, I tried to be helpful towards others. I assisted with homework, cleaned up after activities, and I even did most of the work in group projects because the other kids groaned and complained about it. Unfortunately, due to my acts of being helpful I was called, "dog" by the girls who wore nicer clothes than I did. That nickname stuck around until 4th grade because of the fact I'd listen to anyone who'd ask for help. I was even called, "Heavy" as a supposed nickname for "Heaven" when it has been to call me fat. Around 5th grade,…

The never-ending cycle of abuse rotates through a person's life in multiple ways. When a child is abused, they learn to accept it which can affect their entire life. These children grow up to become either the abused or the abuser which is witnessed as family violence if there are children in the household. In the case of Stark and Flitcraft, it is said "...men who batter their wives are likely to assault their children..."(Stark and Flitcraft, 1988). After a lengthy restraining order and many nights hiding from him, the court date arrived. My mom and I entered the courthouse to finalize the documents. He literally felt that my mom hung the moon. He treated me like I was his daughter. He was loving and kind to both of my siblings. He worked hard to earn my moms trust. Recent periods of social progress and development have seen many concepts and constructs receive widespread attention to what can be described as negative behaviours and one concept and area in particular to receive this attention is abuse. Any response to find a solution to a problem whilst remaining effective and appropriate can experience various complications as there can be an inability to provide a clear and detailed definition of what it actually constitutes, provision of evidence that remains compelling and substantial and taking on board the cultural, social and political considerations and factors that are relevant to the society pertinent to the discussion will receive complications. This lack of clearness in its debate has led to the development of additional descriptions alongside abuse such as psychological maltreatment (Garbino, Guttman&Seeley, 1986), further confusing the issue and its resolution but in spite of this confusion their has been much learned from what attempts have been made in the exploration and analysis of abuse and this discussion will try to identify different types of abuse, expain why particular groups or individuals may be vulnerable ,its differing contexts, risk factors associated and ensure the impact of cultural and social factors on the range of abuse is analysed thoroughly.…
