Personal Narrative: My Vision Of My Utopia
As I aged, I've noticed many times just how rotten the world can be; while there may at times be peace and beauty, it never seems to last. Something horrible always comes to chase the good times away, so it seems. If I had the chance to create a better world there would undoubtedly be many changes. My vision of a utopia would be on a beautiful, self-sustaining world where innovation and nature co-exist peacefully, there are no wars and equality reigns, and my friends and family are safe and happy.
Nowadays, just walking outside your door shows just how wrecked our once beautiful world has become; and the sad thing is, we only have ourselves to blame. Earth is in a downwards spiral concerning all of the environmental problems that we, as a race are just now discovering. Not the least of which is global warming, which is in part caused by all of the pollution the human race creates by using cars, not recycling properly, causing oil spills in the ocean, and many more. My wish for my utopia to be on a beautiful, self-sustaining world is because I want the human race to actually care about how what they do effects the Earth, living on Earth isn't optional so we, as a race should take care of it as best as we can.

With every amazing and innovative step forward humanity creates, we cause to even more war and strife, humanity can be an incredibly ugly race at times, unfortunately. Whenever we do end up with peace, it never lasts. It is occasionally speculated whether it is even possible for there to be true peace across the world. While of course everyone would like to believe it possible, you sometimes have to wonder after some of the disgusting things we have created. That is why I so desperately wish for a utopia free of war and strife, a place where my family, friends, and even random strangers can be safe and happy
