We left at the crack of dawn the next morning. On the ride up we saw …show more content…
We then unpack all the bins and bring everything to the cabin. The cabin was really old and rickety, every time you open the door, it closes with a really loud, “BANG!”. I then chose my bed and laid out my sleeping bag and pillow. The cabin smelt like wood and mildew because there was a box of wood for the wood stove on the other side of the cabin. As i was looking around, I saw a night stand with a small book on it. I sat down and opened the book to find many writings and drawings about other people’s stay. One thing that particularly stuck out to me was all the writings about this moose. The writings were describing this moose as a really buff, wide shouldered moose with an enormous velvet rack. It was the biggest fish i’ve ever caught and even seen in real life. My dad tried to take a picture of my catch, before he could get the camera out, the fish slipped out of my hand and plopped into the water. That whole night was filled with fishing. I caught at least a dozen more, while my dad only caught three. On our way back to the cabin I told my dad,”That was seriously funny that i caught more fish than you and you’ve been here many more times than I have.” “Yeah, well I had to paddle you around to all the fish, so technically we both caught the fish together,” he argued. We walked the rest of the was to the cabin and slept for the night. The next day was filled with fishing and eating. I did some kayaking around the pond while my dad stayed at the camp and made food. That day went by faster than a jackrabbit and the next morning we packed up and hit the road to go
