Personal Narrative: My Personal Experience With WIC
I like that you chose this topic. My own personal experience with WIC was enjoyable. They provided my child and I with many resources. It is known that since the implementation of WIC that women participating in the program give birth to healthier babies, begin/ maintain a healthier diet and lifestyle, the children are more likely to be immunized, the children have scored higher in mental assessment developments, and in recent years improvements have been made to give these low-income families healthier food options. Other contribute WIC in aiding to reduce infant mortality rates (Carlson & Neuberger, 2015). I believe that there are many positive impacts because WIC was implemented.
