“Yes mother.” replied me and my siblings.I was very curious as to what mother meant whenever she said ‘don’t touch anything you’re not supposed to be touching’ it made me wonder is there something important or something dangerous? I told my younger siblings to leave the room to me and my older siblings.
“Anil...Gaia I am very much curious as to what mother said about don’t touch anything you’re not supposed to be it made me wonder what is it that mother does not want us touching?”

People used to underestimate me as the non-powerful one, but now since i’m the one in my household that is smart and powerful, I think I should use this to my advantage.
I slowly open the box to see something glowing and it truly baffled me if I should continue to find out more or should I just stop, but I think to myself that I could be the powerful one.I continue and found a crumpled piece of paper.
To whoever is reading this, I suggest you get rid of this box now it will bring harm upon all and if fear that this cycle will still continue. This box...it will unleash a great power...to those you are greedy and bumptious, this will influence you to want the unlimited power from this box and you are well aware of the precautions you have to take. “Now now David, just one more, then your changing clothes?” Marie said in a soft and gentle voice. I ran to her, tackled her to the dry ground, wrapping my freckled arms around her bony blemished body and suddenly I got scared I’ll break her to pieces. “Ok David, go have a shower before Mrs. Hayden gets here. You don’t want Marie getting into trouble right?” Ronnie broke the moment. You see, my mother is not one of those typical mothers that stayed in the house. She is usually out and with Marie; I don’t feel blue at all. I'm only twelve years old and leaving in such a small town, I can pretty much do what I want as long as I get home before mum or dad does. Marie never tells on me anyway.…

I was considering putting on the necklace at times, but would chicken out, wondering if it were a trick and something really bad would happen. E.g. getting sucked into eternity. (I watch too many scary movies.) Then I gathered up all the courage I could find in my small, slim body, and picked the necklace up. I decided to examine it first, making sure it wasn’t a bomb or something. It had 1,000’s of beautiful diamonds all over it, and in the middle was a blue, light sapphire glowing. I put it around my small neck, being a little skeptical. It had an automatic latch, and at first was VERY heavy, but then instantly felt as light as a feather. All of a sudden my head was spinning, wait, NO, the room was spinning. A rainbow-tornado formed around me and a little pixie appeared. Not like a fairy-pixie, but a teddy-bear like pixie from books I had read as a kid. She was holding a small Atlas Moth box. She looked up at me and said,” Hi! I’m Crystal.” I was looking at her with my mouth as wide open as a whale. She jumped up and reconnected my lower lip with my upper lip. Then she said,” Um, here”, she handed me the box,” um, well are you gonna open it or not?” I looked down at the box, debating whether I should have listened to her or not. But I did. My mom's genes run in my blood, so. I opened the box and a swarm or beautiful Atlas Moths came out, spinning around me. Making me more dizzy and nauseous than I already was. I was amazed, looking at all of them, sparkling as they flew. Then….they all swarmed around me. Should I have listened to…

My mother’s parents would always share stories with us about how their parents came to America from Italy and Germany. They would bring out old photo albums and tell us all about how different life was for them and how they held on to family cooking recipes and every Christmas we make the same dishes that their parents would make. My father’s parents would also share stories about Ireland and my grandpa would talk about what he experienced when he was in the war. Unlike the family I interviewed, I was brought up in a Christian household. Every Sunday the whole family would attend church together and then go out to eat after to talk about what we had learned. We would also pray every night before bed and were always told to give thanks throughout the day for the life we have been blessed with.…

The elevator tells me we settled, on the last floor, with a ding, and a screech, elevator doors open. I step out unsteadily. There is only one hallway in the basement, that leads to the only classroom and back to the elevator, or stairs. The classroom is dead ahead. Mr. Fiedler must have let us out really early. I reach the door, it has the body of an oval, with two black windows, but you can’t see anything through them. The door is scorching hot with a massive layer of ash. Scarcely attached to the door, is a charred Christmas wreath buried behind dozens of murky chains. Cautiously, I grab my plastic flimsy ruler. Snap! I break the ruler on my leg, holding my fingers as distant as I possibly can, I swiftly open the door, with only half, of the injured ruler…
