Personal Narrative: My First Pair Of Crocs
I remember when I bought my first pair of crocs. It was two years ago and a week before school started. The crocs were realtree camouflage. The day I got them I played basketball in them and sprained my ankle. The crocs I had on were the real tree crocs they weren’t good for ankle support. I use crocs when I ride dirt bikes, I wear them because they’re easy to slip on and off. The crocs I have now are like regular crocs but they not, they have a tannish color and a rubber bottom. The bottom of them are like rain boots bottoms.
I would consider wearing them for only certain reasons, like walking round the house or you could wear them when you don’t like feel like wearing shoes, when you cutting grass, and walking along the beach or something

Earlier, insoles or orthotics used to be hard plastic inserts placed inside the shoe to cup the heel and support the arch. However, as they were not flexible, they did not relieve the pressure causing pain. Nowadays, insoles are designed from the perspective of providing maximum comfort and pain relief. One of the well-known brands offering quality insoles is Spenco. The Spenco insoles provide stability and cushioning that facilitate correct foot alignment, flexibility, and pressure relief. These insoles provide your feet with extra support so as to help your feet perform comfortably and naturally.…

A second favorite pair of shoes bought from Payless Shoe Store is boots. Some women design their day’s attire around the boots they will wear that day. These, too, based on the material they are made from, are feet protectors. When they are combined with a pair of pantyhose or a pair tube socks, they can feel as cozy and…

Throughout my life, I have faced a number of crucibles but one, in particular, is more prominent than the rest. About five years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, a traumatic experience that affected my entire family. Each member of my immediate family chose to deal with the news in different ways, however, I am the only one that elected to live in denial. Sadly, the only way I knew how to cope with such devastating news was to continue living my life as if nothing was happening. Denial is simply unsustainable as you cannot escape the memories that the crucible has formed. Nevertheless, years after my mom was originally diagnosed I began to appreciate the experience for what it was rather than shy away from it; developing hardiness.…

Although there is much I can’t recall from my early days of reading, there are some momentous flashbacks. When I was beginning elementary school my parents were very eager to introduce me to doing a great deal of reading, they wanted me to enjoy reading for a while and they succeeded. We lived within walking distance of the public library which allowed us to frequently visit the library to read and check out books. I always remembered the vast shelves of books that seemed like they never had an end. In addition to reading at the library we checked books out to bring home to read, this allowed me to read as much as I wanted to. Correspondent to the amount of reading I did, the more I enjoyed it and improved at reading.…

It’s a bler, trying to look back on when I was a preschooler, so first grade was a mess. First grade is a life changer. Going to Tri-Point in Piper City not even for a full year. Tri-Point is a small old school just like ROWVA. I remember changing schools because my parents got a divorce. We moved to Peoria and lived there with my mom's parents. I got transferred to a Catholic school. Every Wednesday the whole place went to church right across the street. It was the worst thing ever sitting in the old creepy church listening the Father talk about only “God” knows what. My teacher's name was Mrs. Heartstick, no I did not make the name up. She grossed me out. He hands very dry and cracked, they looked like an old man's hands who had worked his whole…

I headed to my first class which just so happened to be my favorite subject, English. The hallways were very wide but when filled with students I felt like I had to shove my way through just to get to my locker. The lockers were a mixture between Gray and purple. The school colors were supposed to be purple and silver but there was no way that these lockers could be considered. I took a look at the little piece of paper that the lady in the office had given me and tried out the combination on my locker. It took me about five minutes to open it and after struggling for that long I was a little irritated so when it did open, it flew open and slammed into the locker next to mine. I held my breath and hoped that nobody had noticed. I took a long deep breath and slowly opened my eyes again. Luckily I was still standing alone and nobody around was looking at me. I put my extra books and notebooks into the locker and and closed it as quietly as I could.…

I have been playing basketball for about 14 years, in doing so I have obtained a lot of shoes. If I had to choose one pair that means the most to me it would be my Kobe’s. My Kobe’s hold a special place in my heart. At first I was always against getting low-top shoes because I thought they did not have enough support and were more likely to cause ankle injuries. I was wrong; I have not felt more confident in a pair of shoes. They are very stable towards my ankles and I have not sprained my ankle in them yet. It is usually a common thing to tweak your ankle every now and then especially being a basketball player. Another reason why I love them is because they are so comfortable. Honestly one of the comfiest pair of shoes I have ever owned, there is a cushioning on the back of the ankle that feels like a fluffy pillow. The cushioning also helps a lot with supporting your ankle. Of course, they are very stylish which is a huge bonus.…
